Materials compress each other in a directional material flow, causing energy and momentum to overflow. moving at low velocity outside the boundary of rigid component form finite dissipation zone. A discrete element model is established explore its characteristics. First, mass driven by disk increases linearly with an increase translation distance, significantly. Second, movement state materials depends on distance from disk. The zone verified be 1 mm/s analyzing contact force. When operating parameters are different, curves similar but numerical values different. Third, maximum edge extends 0.7–3.0 mm beyond boundary, this value related little impact lowering depth. Studying mechanism zones contributes forming efficient flow under flexible constraint.
